Portable fire extinguishers must undergo annual inspections and tagging to verify their functionality and readiness for use. Dry chemical extinguishers require specialized "6 Year Maintenance," involving a thorough internal inspection every six years, including the removal and replacement of extinguishing agents. Additionally, these units must undergo hydrostatic testing every twelve years. Carbon Dioxide (CO²) extinguishers, on the other hand, do not require 6-year maintenance but must undergo hydrostatic testing every five years. All repair work and hydrostatic testing are conducted in our DOT-certified maintenance shop by Fireline, Inc. employees. We do not subcontract any of our services, ensuring quality and reliability.
